As a Maintenance Electrician will be required to undertake planned, preventive and reactive maintenance activities on equipment, tools and facilities across the whole site.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times
  • Complete planned preventive maintenance of equipment, tools and facilities
  • Continue to develop the planned preventative maintenance procedures emphasising on breakdown prevention
  • The installation and/or modifying of equipment as required
  • Conduct a root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement effective reoccurrence prevention plans using resource available
  • Operate access platforms including scissor lifts and cherry pickers
  • Utilise digital resource to access information, emails and complete reports
  • Train and mentor apprentices

 

Who we are looking for

 

To apply, we ask that you must are a time served electrician, have experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, and have an electrical background with a good working knowledge of PLCs; 17th or 18th Edition are preferred but not essential.

 

We are looking for someone who has the ability to work alone as well as someone who can work as part of a team interfacing with other departments, suppliers, contractors and manufacturers.

This position will be on a full time, permanent basis. Working hours are an average of 37.5 hours per week on a shift rotation which involves 10 x 12 hour shifts over a 21 day cycle with 11 days off.
